Do I need a job offer before applying?
It depends on the destination and pathway. Some routes require a confirmed employer offer before an application can proceed, while others allow eligible applicants to enter or apply first and search for employment afterward. We'll help you understand which applies to your circumstances.
Can my spouse and family join me?
Many work and residency pathways allow eligible spouses, partners, and dependent children to apply alongside or after the primary applicant, subject to the destination's family immigration rules and the specific permit involved.
How long does it take to reach permanent residency?
This varies by destination, pathway, and individual circumstances, and timelines are set by the relevant government authority rather than by us. We help clients understand the general shape of the journey from an initial permit toward longer-term residency options.
What does an eligibility assessment consider?
A typical assessment looks at nationality, age, education, qualifications, professional experience, occupation, language ability, family circumstances, preferred destination, immigration history, and your intended objective.
Is an immigration outcome guaranteed?
No. Immigration and visa decisions are made solely by the relevant government authority. We provide application assistance and guidance, but no visa, work permit, permanent residency, or citizenship outcome can be guaranteed.
What happens if my circumstances change during the process?
Let us know about any change in your qualifications, employment, family situation, or documentation, so we can help you understand how it may affect your application.
Do I need a specific reason to apply for a U.S. visitor visa?
Yes — visitor visas generally require a clear, documented purpose for travel, such as tourism, family visits, or business meetings. We help you understand what documentation typically supports this.
Is a digital nomad visa the same as a work permit?
No. An employer-sponsored work permit is for taking up a job in the destination country. These routes are the opposite case: your income already comes from outside that country, and the permission lets you live there while continuing that work. If you are being hired by a local employer, the work permit pathways are the relevant ones instead.
Can my family come with me on a digital nomad visa?
Not uniformly, and this is one of the biggest differences between them. Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Croatia, Italy and Romania do provide for qualifying family members, subject to higher financial requirements. Estonia has no dependant category at all — an accompanying family member would need their own separate legal basis. Hungary’s White Card is restrictive on accompanying family. If moving as a family is the priority, that alone rules some of these routes in or out, so raise it at the start of your assessment rather than after choosing a destination.
Will a digital nomad visa make me a tax resident?
Holding one of these permissions does not by itself decide where you owe tax. That depends on the destination’s domestic rules and on any double-taxation treaty with your current country. We do not give tax advice — tax advice must come from a qualified tax professional in the relevant jurisdiction.
How can I check that someone is a genuine Residency and Global Advisory Bureau Immigration Counselor?
Use our Counselor Verification page. It checks whether a named person is a current member of the Residency and Global Advisory Bureau Immigration Counselor register. You give us the Counselor's code and either their mobile number or email address, and both must match what we hold. Never pay a personal account unless Residency and Global Advisory Bureau management has authorised it to you in writing.
Is the Residency and Global Advisory Bureau CV Builder really free?
Yes. Building, previewing and downloading your CV costs nothing. To download the PDF you first register: your name, mobile number and email, and two agreements (the Privacy Policy, and that Residency and Global Advisory Bureau may contact you about your CV). Every page of the PDF carries a small Residency and Global Advisory Bureau watermark and a footer line.
