What changed on 25 October 2026
  • Canada 67-Point Calculator. Under "General Enquiries vs. Assessments vs. Clients" we now say what the calculator keeps (your answers, score and report), that we record whether you opened your report and which buttons you pressed, only so that your Immigration Counselor can follow up, and that your private report link works for one week.
What changed on 13 October 2026
  • New section: CV Builder. It explains what you give us when you register to download a CV, which consents are required and which are optional, when your CV content is stored, and how long each kind of data is kept.
  • New section: Counselor Verification. It explains that Residency and Global Advisory Bureau records every check made with this tool (including your name, email, mobile number, IP address and browser details), why, and for how long.
  • New section: Referral Program. It explains how we use the contact details of people who refer someone, and of the people who are referred.
  • Eligibility Assessment corrected. The form sends your answers to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own systems. The earlier text, which said it only opened your email program, was out of date.
  • Updated: Information We Collect, Our Basis for Processing, Cookies, Who We Share Information With, How Long We Keep Information, How We Protect Information and Your Rights. A new section also explains accounts and portals: public sign-up is closed.
  • Where we say "Immigration Counselor", we mean the Residency and Global Advisory Bureau staff member who works with you.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Residency and Global Advisory Bureau ("we", "us" or "our") collects through rgabureau.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what this website actually does — not a generic template — and to be understandable without a legal background.

Who We Are

Residency and Global Advisory Bureau is an immigration services and HR consultancy company operating from Burjuman Business Tower, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us at info@rgabureau.com.

Information We Collect, and Why

We only ask for information that is actually needed for what you are doing on the site at that moment. The website itself collects:

  • Contact details (full name, email address, phone or mobile number) — so we can respond to you.
  • Nationality and country of residence — collected only on the Eligibility Assessment form and in the CV Builder, because they are the minimum needed to point you toward relevant immigration pathways or opportunities.
  • Your service and destination interest, and any details you choose to add — so we understand what you are asking about.
  • CV Builder details — your preferred job, years of experience, destination countries of interest and, only if you agree, the content of your CV. See "CV Builder" below.
  • Counselor Verification details — the details you enter and a record of each check. See "Counselor Verification" below.
  • Referral details — names and contact details given to us for a referral. See "Referral Program" below.
  • Basic technical information your browser sends to any website (such as IP address and browser type) as an ordinary function of serving web pages, and as logged by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We do not combine this with any analytics or advertising tool — see "Cookies, Analytics & Third-Party Services" below. On our forms (the Eligibility Assessment, the CV Builder and the assessment-result check) we turn your IP address into a salted hash, which is a scrambled code that cannot be turned back into the address, and use only that code to limit abuse. Counselor Verification is different: it records the IP address itself, as explained in its own section.

We deliberately do not ask for passport numbers, identity-document scans, Emirates ID, date of birth, full residential address, or banking/payment details anywhere on this public website. Please do not type them into free-text boxes either, including in your CV. Where a genuine engagement requires that information (for example, preparing an actual application after you become a client), it is collected later, directly, through Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own secure client systems and a signed service agreement — not through a public web form.

General Enquiries vs. Assessments vs. Clients

We treat four different situations differently:

  1. General enquiry — you email us, message us on WhatsApp or use the details on the Contact page. We use whatever you send us only to answer your enquiry.
  2. Eligibility assessment request — you use the Eligibility Assessment form. That form collects the fields listed above and, when you submit it, sends them to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own systems, where they are stored and can be seen by authorized Residency and Global Advisory Bureau staff. We may add you to our customer-relationship management system (our "CRM") as a lead, and an Immigration Counselor is then assigned to contact you. Assignment is made by rotation among our Counselors. If you are already in our records, we add a note to your existing record instead of creating a duplicate. If our systems cannot be reached, the form may open your own email program with the details pre-filled instead, and in that case nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email.
  3. Canada 67-Point Calculator — you use the free Canada 67-Point Calculator. We keep your answers, your score and your report so that your Immigration Counselor can follow up with you. We also record whether you opened your report and which buttons you pressed (for example, to talk to your Immigration Counselor), only so that your Immigration Counselor can follow up; we do not pass this to advertising or analytics services. The private link to your report works for one week, and you can use the calculator again at any time. We keep calculator information for up to 12 months, unless you become a client, in which case it is kept with your client record; you may ask us to delete it at any time.
  4. Client / active application — a formal client relationship, and the fuller information it requires (identity documents, application records, payment history), begins only once Residency and Global Advisory Bureau and you have entered into a signed service agreement through our onboarding process, not automatically because a form was submitted. That data is held in Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's internal case-management systems, access to which is restricted to authorized staff.

CV Builder

The free CV Builder at rgabureau.com/resume-builder/ helps you write a CV. It is also one way people reach Residency and Global Advisory Bureau. This section says exactly what happens to your information.

What stays on your device

  • While you work, a draft of your CV may be kept in your own browser on your own device, so you can come back to it. It is not sent to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau. You can clear it at any time. The Cookie Policy lists the storage key.
  • If you upload an existing CV (a Word .docx file, or a PDF that contains real text), it is read inside your browser to pre-fill the form. The file is not uploaded to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau.
  • A photo you add is used in the CV you download. It is not sent to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau.

What Residency and Global Advisory Bureau receives when you register to download

Registration is required before the CV can be downloaded. We ask for your first name, middle name (if you have one) and last name; your email address; your mobile number; your country of residence; your nationality; the destination countries you are interested in; your preferred job; and your years of experience.

Your consents

  • Required: (1) that you have read this privacy notice; and (2) that you agree Residency and Global Advisory Bureau may contact you about your CV.
  • Optional: (3) marketing messages from Residency and Global Advisory Bureau; (4) "share my CV with Residency and Global Advisory Bureau"; and (5) overseas job matching, which means you ask Residency and Global Advisory Bureau to consider you for overseas job opportunities.

The content of your CV (your summary, work history, education, skills, languages, certifications and links) is stored by Residency and Global Advisory Bureau only if you tick "share my CV with Residency and Global Advisory Bureau". If you do not tick it, Residency and Global Advisory Bureau does not keep your CV content.

If your details are not stored, for example because the consents needed to store them were not given, we keep only an anonymous counter record. It shows the day, the design you chose and whether the request worked. It contains nothing that identifies you.

What we do with it

We use your contact details to contact you about your CV. When you agree to be contacted, Residency and Global Advisory Bureau creates a record in its CRM with the source "Website - CV Builder", and an Immigration Counselor is assigned to you through a round-robin rotation, which means Counselors take new records in turn. If you are already in our records, we add a note to your existing record instead of creating a duplicate, and an existing client does not get a new lead. This website does not send your CV to employers.

Keeping the service safe

To limit abuse, such as bots or repeated submissions, we keep a short-lived record made from a salted hash of your IP address. We do not store the IP address itself.

How long we keep it

  • CV content: emptied (deleted) after 365 days.
  • Anonymous counters: deleted after 400 days.
  • Anti-abuse records (rate limits): deleted after 7 days.
  • Your contact details: kept for as long as your record exists in our CRM, or until you ask us to delete it, subject to the limits described under "Your Rights".

Counselor Verification

Counselor Verification (rgabureau.com/counselor-verification/) is a client-protection tool. It lets a person who is in Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's records check that someone claiming to be a Residency and Global Advisory Bureau Immigration Counselor is genuine.

How it works

  1. You enter your name, email address and mobile number.
  2. Residency and Global Advisory Bureau searches its CRM records of leads and clients for a match on your email address and mobile number (and your first name).
  3. If there is a match, we email you a 6-digit one-time code from one-time-password@rgabureau.com, using Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own mail server. The code is valid for 10 minutes and you have 5 attempts to enter it.
  4. After you enter the code, you can check a Counselor by entering the Counselor Code and the Counselor's mobile number or email address.
  5. A verified result shows only what is necessary to confirm the person: the Counselor's name, job title, department, branch, Counselor Code, work email, mobile number and whether they are active.

Never share your one-time code with anyone. Residency and Global Advisory Bureau staff never ask you for it. You enter it only on the verification page.

If there is no match, you cannot see Counselor details. The page tells you to coordinate with your Immigration Counselor to be added in the portal.

A result of "not verified" only means that no match was found for the details entered. It is not a statement about any person.

What we record

Residency and Global Advisory Bureau records every check made with this tool: your name, email address, mobile number, IP address, browser details, the Counselor Code you entered and the result. These records are visible to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's Super Admin, which is our highest-level administrator role. The verification page tells you that checks are recorded.

Why: to protect clients and staff from fraud, impersonation and bots. Basis: your consent when you use the tool, and Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's legitimate interest in preventing fraud and protecting its clients and employees.

How long we keep it

Verification records are kept for 12 months. After that, the personal details and the IP address are removed automatically, and only anonymous counters remain. If a record is part of a fraud report or a dispute, it may be kept for as long as that matter needs.

Referral Program

The Referral Program involves two groups of people.

  • The person who refers. If you refer someone, you share their name and contact details with Residency and Global Advisory Bureau through WhatsApp or the Contact page. We also keep your own contact details so we can confirm who made the referral and apply any reward.
  • The person who is referred. You must have the referred person's permission before you give us their details. We use their details to contact them, to check whether they qualify for the service they ask about, and to apply the reward, if one applies.

The reward terms are on the Referral Program page. If you are the person who was referred and you do not want to hear from us, tell us and we will stop. You can also ask us what we hold about you, as described under "Your Rights".

We keep referral details with the related CRM record, for as long as that record exists, or until you ask us to delete it, subject to the limits described under "Your Rights".

Assessment Results and the Verification Page

When Residency and Global Advisory Bureau issues an assessment result to you, it is sent to you by email with a reference number (an AR No.) and a verification code. The verification page lets you, or someone you show the result to, such as an employer, confirm that the result is genuine. It shows only the name, the result, the date, the position and the destination. It does not show points, pay, offer terms or contact details. To limit guessing of codes, a failed attempt is counted using a salted hash of the visitor's IP address, not the address itself. The same page also checks an interview assessment result (with the Result ID, your registered e-mail address and mobile number and a one-time code sent to that address) and an invoice or a payment receipt (with the verification code shown on it).

Accounts, Client Portal & Staff Portal

Public sign-up on this website is closed. Accounts are created by Residency and Global Advisory Bureau only. The client portal is available to paid clients only, and the staff portal is for Residency and Global Advisory Bureau staff. These systems are separate from this public website. The information held in them is handled as described under "Client / active application" above and under "How We Protect Information" below.

We collect and use information where doing so is necessary to respond to your enquiry or request, to take steps you asked for before entering into a service agreement, to meet our legal and accounting obligations, to keep this website secure, or because you have given us consent. In particular:

  • Consent: the consent checkbox on the Eligibility Assessment form; the required and optional consents in the CV Builder; any separate marketing consent you choose to give; and your use of Counselor Verification, after we tell you checks are recorded.
  • Legitimate interest: preventing fraud, impersonation and abuse (for example, recording Counselor Verification checks, and limiting repeated or automated form submissions), and managing the Referral Program honestly.
  • Steps before a contract and legal obligations: answering your enquiry, and keeping records that law or accounting rules require once you become a client.

Cookies, Analytics & Third-Party Services

See our full Cookie Policy for the current, actual list. In summary, as of the date above:

  • We do not run Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, or any other analytics or advertising tracker on this website.
  • Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which involves your browser making a request to Google's servers to fetch font files. Google may process the IP address making that request as part of operating its font-hosting service.
  • The Eligibility Assessment, Counselor Verification and Knowledge Centre pages load a code library from the jsDelivr network and then connect to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own backend (Supabase) so those features can work. The CV Builder and the assessment-result check connect to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's backend directly. This is Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own data, not a third-party tracker, but it is a request to Supabase's infrastructure (see "Who We Share Information With" below).
  • Your browser stores two items on your device: a record of your choice in the cookie banner, and, only if you use the CV Builder, a draft of your CV. Neither is a tracking cookie, and neither is sent to Residency and Global Advisory Bureau.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell personal information. We share information only where genuinely necessary:

  • Supabase — our hosting and database provider, used to run the website features described in this policy (the Eligibility Assessment, the CV Builder, Counselor Verification, the assessment-result check and the Knowledge Centre) and, separately, Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's CRM and internal client-management systems. Supabase acts as our data processor for this purpose.
  • Our website hosting provider — to serve this website. It may keep standard server logs.
  • Email — email we send, including one-time codes and assessment results, is delivered by Residency and Global Advisory Bureau's own mail server.
  • Google Fonts and jsDelivr — your browser requests files from them, as described in the Cookie Policy, and they may see your IP address.
  • WhatsApp — if you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms, as well as by us.
  • Authorized Residency and Global Advisory Bureau personnel — staff who need the information to do their job (for example, the Immigration Counselor assigned to you, who responds to your enquiry and handles your case). Counselor Verification records are visible to the Super Admin.
  • Where required by law — for example in response to a valid legal or regulatory request.

We do not have any advertising, analytics, or data-broker partners today, so there is nothing to disclose in that category beyond what is listed here.

International Data Transfers

Residency and Global Advisory Bureau operates from the United Arab Emirates and serves clients considering immigration to destinations worldwide. Depending on where our service providers host their infrastructure, information may be processed outside the country you are in.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information for no longer than is needed for the purpose it was collected for. General enquiries and assessment-request correspondence are kept only as long as needed to respond to you, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first — unless a longer period is required by law (for example, accounting or contractual record-keeping obligations once you become a client). Client records tied to a signed service agreement are retained for as long as the engagement requires, plus any additional period required by applicable law or regulation. The periods for the newer features are:

InformationHow long
CV Builder: CV content (only if you ticked "share my CV with Residency and Global Advisory Bureau")Emptied after 365 days.
CV Builder: anonymous countersDeleted after 400 days.
CV Builder: anti-abuse (rate-limit) recordsDeleted after 7 days.
CV Builder, assessment and referral contact detailsFor as long as the related CRM record exists, or until you ask us to delete them (see "Your Rights").
Counselor Verification records12 months. Then the personal details and the IP address are removed automatically, and only anonymous counters remain. Kept longer only if the record is part of a fraud report or a dispute, and only for as long as that matter needs.
Cookie-banner choice and CV draft in your browserOn your device until you clear them or clear your browser's site data.

How We Protect Information

We restrict access to client information to authorized personnel, and our internal systems use role-based access controls and encrypted connections. The content of a CV is visible only to staff who are allowed to open the related CRM record. Counselor Verification records are visible only to the Super Admin. Anti-abuse checks use a salted hash of the IP address on our forms. No online system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.

Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to withdraw a consent you gave, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email info@rgabureau.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

To help us find your records, please tell us which name, email address and mobile number you used, and which feature you used (for example the CV Builder or Counselor Verification). We may need to confirm that you are the person concerned before we share or change anything. We may keep a record where we must for legal reasons, or where it is part of a fraud report or a dispute. Withdrawing a consent does not affect what we did while it was in place. Anonymous counters cannot be linked to you, so they cannot be looked up or changed.

Marketing Communications

We only send you marketing communications (immigration updates, service announcements, promotions) if you have actively opted in — for example, via the separate, unchecked marketing consent checkbox on our Eligibility Assessment form, or the optional marketing box in the CV Builder. We never combine that with the general enquiry-response consent. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time by emailing info@rgabureau.com with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line, or by using any unsubscribe link in the communication itself.

Children

This website and its services, including the CV Builder and Counselor Verification, are intended for adults, and for individuals who are legally able to enter into an agreement for the immigration or HR consultancy services we provide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our general marketing forms.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our website or practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision, and the box at the top of the page summarizes the latest changes. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to make it clearly visible on this page.
