Our Commitment
Residency and Global Advisory Bureau wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using assistive technology such as screen readers, or navigating by keyboard alone.
Standard We Aim For
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA wherever reasonably possible. We do not claim full, verified compliance — this is a genuine, ongoing effort, not a certification.
What We've Done
- Checked and corrected text-color contrast across the site against WCAG AA thresholds.
- All meaningful images carry descriptive alt text; purely decorative images use an empty alt attribute so screen readers skip them.
- All forms use native, labelled form controls that work with keyboard navigation and screen readers.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators are used throughout, including on buttons, links, and form fields.
- Animations and scroll effects are disabled for visitors whose system is set to reduce motion (
prefers-reduced-motion). - Page structure uses semantic HTML headings, landmarks, and breadcrumb navigation.
Known Limitations
This is an ongoing effort. Some pages have not yet been individually tested with a screen reader, and we welcome reports of anything that does not work well for you.
